Terrell Owens stated this week he does not concern himself with the Dallas Cowboys and could not care less about the team. The Hall of Fame wide receiver told the Action Network the Cowboys have shown no interest in him since his departure. Owens added he has nothing to say about the organization.

Owens played three seasons with the Cowboys from 2006 to 2008, signing a three-year contract in 2006 and receiving a three-year extension in 2008. Dallas released him in March 2009, two months after a 9-7 finish that missed the playoffs. Reports at the time pointed to locker room tensions, including scrutiny over his relationship with offensive coordinator Jason Garrett.

In 2008, Owens recorded 1,052 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, his lowest totals during three Cowboys seasons. He joined the Buffalo Bills for one year afterward, praising the franchise for ongoing community involvement. Owens played 14 games in his final NFL season with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010 and earned five All-Pro selections and six Pro Bowl nods in his career.

Owens skipped his 2018 Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement in Canton, Ohio, holding a separate ceremony at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
